Himalayan Java
Since I had the day off, we decided to stop down to Himalayan Java for a lunchtime snack.
Sag, the owner, is the man and I really liked the place. The spot had a neighborhood feel and that shined through as Sag greeted so many of the customers with handshakes and/or hugs. The hot chocolate and coffees were all good as well as the cinnamon coffee cake that we ordered. We even got to try some Mo Mo which wad pretty excellent.
The sauce used has a very unique flavor that tastes like ginger and some kind of curry. There is probably more to it than that I’m sure. The service was wonderful and the cashier even remembered my name. That coupled with the way the owner interacts with the customers would bring me back.
I’m a huge fan establishments effete the owner mashes a point to be out on the floor.
